Dante vs Zombies: Interview Part 2
Here’s the second part of the interview with Dante White and I Promote Good Bands:
June has been an incredible month filled with great music, out-of-the-box performances, and an intelligent group of musicians. Dante vs Zombies is a phenomenal band on the cusp of bigger things. We’ve been honored to feature them this month, and can’t wait to see what they have in store for the feature. Below is the second part of our interview with Dante White.
Q: What was one of your favorite moments during the Dante vs Zombies residency at The Echo?
That’s a tough question. There were many ecstatic moments, but the audience playing tug of war was pretty special.
Q: Dante vs Zombies has an incredible live show that’s always different. How long does it take to come up with a concept for each show as far as costumes and set?
It’s usually pretty last minute, or the day of the show. Sometimes it’s every person for him or herself without a unifying concept. Even if there is a concept, it’s optional. When it’s not optional, we are allowed 3 verbals before we get a written. 3 writtens may result in suspension and temporary exclusion from the band softball team as well as as suspension of employee discounts.
